Embracing Fantasy and Adventure

Welcome to my writing corner that's  full of action, adventure, imagination, and storytelling! I invite you to join me on a journey through enchanted tales and thrilling adventures. I have a passion for weaving tales that captivate the heart and inspire the soul.

My protagonists are always strong, courageous women who have room to grow and discover wonderful new skills along the way.  My protagonists tend to have a lot of sass and sometimes a smart mouth that can get them in trouble from time to time.

I love all things that go bump in the night. Goblins, Ghouls, Witches, Vampires, Shifters, Dragons, and even Mundanes. You never know who you might run into within one of my stories or when you drop by to say hello.

Please, grab a cup of coffee or a cup of tea and join me as we embark on a quest to unlock the secrets of enchanted worlds.

About Me.

I was unaware of the meaning of the word "poetry" when I first started writing at a young age; however, I had a wonderful teacher in elementary school that encouraged my love of poetry and writing. Writing has always been a constant form of comfort and freedom of expression for me. For the past several years I have been developing a Young Adult fantasy series, several romance novels, a couple of poetry collections, and a couple of short stories. Rejection letters are opportunities to grow: WRITE, EDIT, REVISE, and DO IT AGAIN. Please don't get discouraged. Continue writing and crafting your masterpiece, because every great author has received a rejection letter or two at some point in their career.

My career has provided me with rich opportunities to learn about other cultures and languages. My father shared many stories about his time in Japan. His love for the culture and the languages of the Orient inspired me to have respect for all cultures. I have studied several languages including German, Korean, Mandarin, Spanish, English, and American Sign Language. I spoke German until I was eight, however, currently, I am only fluent in English and American Sign Language. The phrase "If you don't use it, you will lose it" is absolutely true when it comes to language.
